Following up on this line of thought, Nokia Siemens Networks has enhanced the contents of its Extranet with a host of new materials aimed at pre-sales support.
‘We have also developed cost-efficient and simple-to-order service packages for Microwave Transport and Optical (DWDM) network planning’, said Anne Jacquiot, head of Pre-Sales Support for Nokia Siemens Networks partner business. ‘These services offer a viable option for partners who either lack in-house competencies or are averse to investing in planning tools at the pre-sales phase.’
We want to ensure that all our channel partners have direct access to relevant pre-sales collaterals related to our in-house products. The Extranet platform available to serve this purpose, NOLS (NSN On-line Services), requires a valid VAR agreement as a necessary pre-condition for granting access rights to our partners. Our local commercial contact acts as the prime channel for delivering access rights to nominated partner personnel.
The NOLS has been significantly enriched in the recent past; as on date, a number of new categories have been introduced to the future-ready portal, including:
- Success-stories and story-finder (per product area and market segment)
- End-of-life information
- How to sell materials (with product value argumentation)
- Certificates (e.g. NSN ISO 9001)
The new-look NOLS offers an end-to-end scope of coverage (all info on pre-sales & tendering work) as well as the flexibility to order mail notifications about changes in portal content.
