Norwegian Jernbaneverket deploys a GSM-R Solution

When regulatory authorities requested the need to have emergency communications for all rail lines, the Norwegian train authorities turned to Nokia Siemens Networks. The GSM-R project was rolled out in a country with vast distances, during extreme weather conditions in the winter season, and with tight deadlines due to the safety issue of the project.
